Now that you've logged on let's look at some of the stuff you can do at TikkiWeb. First as a member you have access to special content, user pages, addresses, family pages...and the chat room.
Through the users page you can view blog entries, and quotes submitted by the selected user. Via track, you may also view posts created by the selected user. To leave a message for a user select "send private message" on the view tab, or simply go to the contact tab. Also, check out admin help.
On your user page, you will have several options under "edit" to change how the site works for you. under Edit you can change your user name, email address and password. You can set preferences for private messages, the contact form, and time zone. You can add or modify an image that displays you or your personality, a signature, and your timezone. Under the "my notify settings" tab, you can change whether and how you are notified when new content is added to www.TikkiWeb.net.
As a user, you may create content. There are several types of content. Most forms of content are viewable by the world at large. Addresses and family pages are only viewable by members by default. Some of the other semi-unique features, are the ability to post recipes, polls, and pages. There are two types of pages that can be used for articles. Standard pages and book pages, I recommend using book pages for 99% of the articles you post, book pages are much easier to manage in the long run. You can also post images. You only have to post the original image, scaled and thumbnailed versions will be created for you automatically. Please try to keep the original image size below 1024x1024 and 1MB. Any quotes you post will be added to the rotation for "Quote of the Moment" in the column to the left. You can find most content (including comments) through the search feature at the top right of the site.
