I find myself replaying the latest podcast episode in anticipation of the next episode. Currently, I'm debating whether to purchase the ebook of Brave Men Run now and read it all, or to wait until I've heard the entire book in the author's own voice. Brave Men Run is a very well managed podcast & audiobook, at least as good as main stream distributors. In 2002 an amazing, and amazingly short-lived, series came to Fox television. Fox beat up, chopped, and spit out this wonderful show. However, the cast, crew, and fans wouldn't let the show die. This poor unassuming serial is called Firefly. If Star Trek (the original series) was considered a "wagon train in space", this new launch of a sci-fi western by Joss Whedon truly captured and remade the theme. Typically the cancellation of a series such as this, with only eleven (of fourteen) episodes aired, would mean the end, but it quite simply isn't. In September of 2005, a movie named for the ship in Firefly was released. Serenity is available on Amazon in classic and now a collector's edition, each have excellent special features.  read more »
