a huge thank you from me - and my family - as I have just cheered up.
well that took 3 seconds and there I was about to re-install windows!
by the way mine broke after i uninstalled some stuff in the add / remove progs window - including Office 2000 which Microsoft advised I kept when I installed Office 2003 if I remember rightly.
