hey, someone got into the girl i'm staying with's yahoo account, now she can't even get into it. what the heck are we supposed to do? i've suggested there's nothing she can really do except start a new account an report him. she lost a lot of stuff though, and it really sucks for her.

Possibilities

The lucky way: Try resetting the password using the Forgot Password option.

The easy way: Create a new account.

The hard way: Contact Yahoo Customer Service at 408-349-1572

The last resort: Send me the account info by email (click the EMAIL button at the top of the page) and I'll see what I can do. (User ID, User Name, last known password, etc.) Cass, please put your full name in the Subject so I don't kill the message by accident.

I hid the hacker's name to hopefully keep him off the trail for now.
